Frequently Asked Questions

How do I access my e-mail account via webmail?
Last Updated 9 years ago

Web-based e-mail empowers you with the ability to check your e-mail wherever you are in the world, providing you have access to a computer on the internet.

If you ordinarily use an email client such as Outlook then, provided your email client collects mail using IMAP rather than POP3, webmail will show you the same folder structure and messages that your email client does.  Anything you do using webmail, such as deleting messages or moving them to subfolders, will be reflected in your email client when you next use it.

Your username and password are the same in webmail as they are in your email client (if you use one).

Depending on your setup, you may be presented with an entry screen or taken directly to your webmail. If you are presented with an entry screen, click on the 'Squirrelmail' icon to view your webmail.
